Room for Improvement

Something Old, Something New

Summer Breeze

Austin, Texas is a great place to live, but when the summer temperatures spike, Ken and Lorrie DeAngelis head north to Little Compton, Rhode Island. They prefer their ‘hot fun in the sun’ a little cooler – and the breezes off Narragansett Bay and the waves at Brigg’s Beach provide the perfect setting for their large family gatherings. The home that hosts these memories-in-the-making had remained unaltered since Ken purchased it in 1998, but this summer the family will enjoy the benefits of a year-long rejuvenation.
